Monifah never had the strongest voice but I always found her very engaging. Her delivery has a genuine quality to it that has often made up for some rather pedestrian lyrics and production. When this album first came out I was quite surprised that Monifah had done well enough to justify 3 albums. I liked her first two albums but at the time I was pretty sure I would have been in the minority. As it turns out I'm glad she did get to a third album because we get the pleasure of listening to songs like 'I Can Tell', the boppy "How ya Gonna Love Me' and 'Feva'. Unfortunately that was it for Monifah, but hey, she did a lot better than a lot of other artists of the time.Download
